Fabulous hotel in perfect location, beautiful restaurant and bar with terrace overlooking the ocean. Great breakfast with plenty of choices, everything so fresh and tasty. Great service, the staff at this hotel are so helpful and friendly, always smiling and happy to help. Very professional on all levels. Fantastic service at the bar and restaurant. We were so sad to leave, will definitely book again. So close to old town but quiet and peaceful location. The atmosphere in this hotel is amazing, very relaxing. I can honestly say the best hotel in the area.

This is a beautiful hotel located on the beach. It’s perfect in pictures, but that’s where it ends. It doesn’t matter how beautiful it looks if you can’t sleep. The bed was so hard!!! There’s no comforter, instead a thin blanket. I found a thick blanket in the closet & I was torn on using it to cover up or to lay down as a mattress cushion. I went with the latter. I didn’t sleep one full night the 3 nights I was here. I was happy to check out & go to another hotel with a more comfortable bed. Aside from the bed, the hotel is very nice. It’s a bit of a walk from the restaurants & activities. But that was ok for us, we enjoyed the beautiful view. The complementary breakfast was very nice, lots of food options. You can ask them to make a customized omelette for you which were pretty good, we learned that from one of the staff members. The hotel is right next to the beach. It’s a lovely walk. We were under the impression the lounge chairs & umbrellas were complimentary as part of the hotel. They are not. You have to pay, the closer you sit to the water the higher the rental fee. I would go back to this hotel IF they upgraded their beds & linens. A comfy bed is everything.

Stayed in this hotel in June 2023, having stayed 3 times before. The hotel is clean and the food is good, the staff in the restaurant are polite and work constantly, there simply isn’t enough of them which impacts on service levels. My only real issue with this hotel is the beds, they are like sleeping on a board. We found ourselves going into town to try and find a mattress topper. We really like the hotel, but the uncomfortable beds is the main reason we are looking at other accommodation for 2024. If the beds were on a par with other 4 star hotels then we wouldn’t even look at other accommodation.

This is not a 4 star hotel quality. 1. The lifts are very small 2. No tea/coffee in the rooms 3. No irons in the room - pay for laundry 4. The hall way have an “old” smell 5. You have to pay for the safety deposit box 6. This is not located close to any convince shops. These are the main reasons I would not recommend the hotel and would not return : 1. The beds are VERY uncomfortable. The duvet is a thin sheet, like a towel. 2. Hotel charge €5 for a swimming cap. Bring your own as all of Portugal require one. 3. the breakfast is AWFUL. You will be hungry! The pastry selection is not fresh/nice, the fry up is very limited, the cold selection is somewhat okay if you want to make a sandwich. There is LIMITED options if you’re vegetarian or have intolerances For a 4 star hotel, this is not acceptable!! Therefore this is closer to a 2/3 star hotel. The positives of this hotel is: 1. the location as it is on the beach. 2. You have a wood-guided path hotel to beach and some stairs to access. 3. It’s a pretty hotel exterior, there is sun-loungers (few) 4. Free parking 👍🏼

The best thing about this hotel is the location on the beach. There are around 40 steps to get there but it is worth it. It is 10 mins into town but is uphill or along the beach. The hotel is clean and everyone very helpful and friendly. There is an ATM and indoor pool, sundeck and bar/restaurant. Towels are provided for a deposit. My only complaint is there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Couldn't of picked a better hotel for our first child free holiday in over 20 years, staff are brilliant, rooms are great,breakfast was delicious and the hotel is quite and impeccably clean with the added bonuses of a indoor pool and private path to the beautiful beach, located close to the Old town with great views.15 minutes walk to the marina,we had an amazing holiday

We are actually here now. Midway through our holiday . I was drawn to the hotel online. It looked perfect and we have not been disappointed. Each member of staff has been polite and more then helpful. We are on the top floor next to the suites . The bedroom is a good size and everything is spotlessly clean and love the large walk in shower There are 2 restaurants one for breakfast andon the centre floor of the hotel looking over the beach for lunches dinner and bar . The food - great choice, and presentation. Our first visit to Portugal. Would definitely stay here again.
